Welcome to Larry’s World!

Owned and operated by Stephen Schweighardt, Larry’s World consists of Toronto based cafés Larry’s Place (Parkdale), Larry’s Back Pocket (Dundas West) and a micro coffee roastery based out of Prince Edward County, Larry’s Coffee Company.

Larry’s Folly was Stephen’s first solo coffee venture – opening it in Parkdale during the height of the pandemic in 2020, and we haven’t looked back.

Who is Larry Anyway?

The question we get asked the most is, “Who is Larry?”. “Larry” is Stephen’s maternal grandfather. A big-hearted man with an excellent sense of humour. He’d swagger quietly through the house with coffee mugs filled to the brim, passing them off to everyone after big family dinners on Sundays. The Larry’s story is driven by the warmth of family and the comforts of home and it is our goal to bring that feeling into every cup. 

Whose dog is that?

It’s Stephen’s dog and her name is Clementine and we love her that’s why she’s on all the merch.
